    Jibo, Inc, Founder

  • Cynthia Breazeal founded and directs the Personal Robots Group at MIT’s Media Lab and is a pioneer of social robotics and Human Robot Interaction. She is also the founder of Jibo Inc. Cynthia's research focuses on developing principles and technologies for building personal robots that are socially intelligent— interact and communicate with people in human-centric terms, work with humans as peers, and learn from people as an apprentice. In her keynote address at the Aging2.0 Global Innovation Summit, Cynthia will share the latest trends in social robotics and exciting implications for improving quality of life and quality of care for older adults.
