The Techstars Healthcare Accelerator, in partnership with Cedars-Sinai, have announced the 11 healthtech startup companies that will be participating in their inaugural three-month accelerator class. According to a recent press release, the class will receive “mentorship and guidance from Cedars-Sinai doctors, nurses and executives along with investors and entrepreneurs from the Techstars network and the healthcare industry.”
Techstars is a global ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs to bring new technologies to market wherever they choose to live. With dozens of mentorship-driven accelerator programs and thousands of community programs worldwide, Techstars exists to support the world’s most promising entrepreneurs throughout their lifelong journey, from inspiration to IPO.
In regards to the announcement, Chief Information Officer at Cedars-Sinai, Darren Dworkin said, “We are proud to be partnered with Techstars and their mission to empower entrepreneurs to bring the best new technologies to market. We are excited to extend this mission to the healthcare ecosystem.”
