Hear from a panel of family caregivers about the highs and lows of caring for an aging loved one, the tools, resources and solutions they use/need and the impact of caregiving on their personal and professional lives.

In terms of lost productivity, the cost of informal caregiving to U.S. businesses is between $17 and $33 billion annually.” Hear from HR and business professionals from corporate America about the impact that family caregiving has in the workplace - touching on retention, productivity and relevant employee benefits available/needed to support employee caregivers.
- PROFESSIONAL CAREGIVERS: From the Front Lines
A panel of professional caregivers will share their first-hand experience on working day-to-day providing care to seniors. This is a challenging job both physically and emotionally with a high turnover rate. They will highlight challenges and opportunities to improve quality of life and quality of care for seniors as well as opportunities to improve quality of life and job satisfaction for this important segment of the careforce.

By 2040, there will be a national shortage of 355,000 paid direct care workers and 11 million unpaid family caregivers. This session will cover professional caregiving from the business lens with a variety of panelists from the senior care industry.
