Wed, Jan 27, 2021, 10:00 AM (MST)

As a leading expert on the growing trend toward working well into the traditional retirement years, Chris Farrell’s latest book is Purpose and a Paycheck: Finding Meaning, Money, and Happiness is the Second Half of Life - a topic of interest to older adults today!

Many older adults are looking for, and interested in, continuing to contribute to their own mental and financial health as well as adding value to employers and the economy.  With each generation living longer and healthier lives, their work span is expanding affording them the opportunity to continue employment.

Life for people in their 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond, is filled with new possibilities as the aging population becomes more active and engaged than any previous generation.  Chris will walk us through opportunities for the "next" phase of life.

Is it time to retire the term "Retirement"?  Or do we simply redefine retirement, the Golden Years, and what the decades to come can and will encompass for people as they age?  Join us in learning more about what Chris has found in his research.  And come prepared with questions for Chris to answer!
