Jayne Keller, Vice-President of Senior Living at Christian Living Communities and Dr. Nathan Estrada, Director of Clinical Operations and Partnerships for Nymbl Science will discuss the evolution of fall prevention and what advances in fall prevention look like today. Questions that will be addressed include::
- Why falls among older adults are increasing despite best fall prevention efforts
- How to meet the changing needs of older adults
- Why it is important to move away from balance programming to more scalable and population-focused solution
Jayne Keller, Vice-President of Senior Living at Christian Living Communities, MS, brings more than 30 years of experience in senior living, ranging from skilled nursing administration to operating a full continuum community including assisted and independent living. She served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Health Care Association and as the state leader for the National Centers of Assisted Living. She recently completed a three-year commitment as the chairperson of the LeadingAge Colorado Conference Planning Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in health services administration from Regis University.
Dr. Nathan Estrada, PT, DPT, SCS, is Director of Clinical Operations and Partnerships for Nymbl Science. Dr. Estrada is an experienced Physical Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and health care industry. He is skilled at producing superior cliniical outcomes and relationship management with communities, leadership, and older people. Dr. Estrada received his doctorate from the University of Colorado Denver Health Science Center and is board certified as a sports clinical specialist and physical therapist.
Karen M. Brown, MBA, is the Chapter Ambassador for the Aging2.0 Denver Chapter. She is also the CEO of iAging which consults to companies developing products and solutions focused on the Longevity Economy. She is the Past Chair and a current member of the Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging, and Director of the Changing the Narrative Age-Friendly Work Place Initiative. She received her MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado - Denver.
