The Aging2.0 Halifax Chapter kick-off event for 2021 will feature two webinars on March 15th and 18th. The March 15th event will feature 3 distinct “stories” highlighting the use of technology to support seniors as well as some of the issues that must be addressed to permit all seniors in the Atlantic region to benefit from technology. Speakers at the webinars will each share their individual stories based on real world projects and experience.

The mission of the Aging2.0 Halifax Chapter is to help build Atlantic Canada into an Age-Friendly Community where all seniors irrespective of race, economic level, health, or geographic location can thrive, flourish, and enjoy living their lives to the fullest. To do this, the Halifax Chapter is launching a two pronged program combining a series of webinars which will provide information and tools to support seniors in aging well with a major initiative, the Living Lab which will support the development of new products and services to address the pressing needs of the rapidly growing seniors’ population.
