Aging2.0 London, with the support of Ageing Research at King’s (ARK) is hosting its second Aging2.0 Collective Intelligence Workshop on the 3rd of April from 9am to 1pm on the topic of 'Active Ageing'. Together, we will identify the high level 'missions', sub-issues, key players as well as metrics and measures of success. We're excited to welcome A2.0 members from our Australian Chapter! Participants will benefit from a structured brainstorming environment on a topic of interest to them, receive the collected materials as output of the meeting and connect with others from across industry silos.
Our 100+ Chapters around the world have identified challenge topics, as well as our corporate partners, startups and older adults. Tackling them requires a systematic approach whereby we bring in ideas from around the world using an interdisciplinary, intergenerational and international approach.
This “Collective Intelligence” event is an opportunity for our Chapter to harness their collective intelligence: sharing with each other and uploading results to the platform.

Judy Martin, Director of SAGE International | Judy’s expertise is connecting community to business. She has successfully opened a number of national and international aged care markets and is well-known in the international aged care/seniors living industry, especially for her role initiating and managing the SAGE Program.
Andrew McFarlane, CEO of Bene Aged Care | Andrew has extensive experience in the provision of professional management and business consulting services to a diverse range of not for profit, commercial and private clients. After gaining invaluable consulting experience at Hungerfords and KPMG, Andrew established his own consulting company Momentum Business Advisors Pty Ltd in 1988 where he is Principle Consultant. Andrew is a director of multiple companies in the Momentum Property Group and Flex Care and is currently the CEO of the Italian Benevolent Foundation SA Inc.
Tony Bridge, Managing Director of Bridge Advisory Group | Tony founded Bridge Advisory Group in 2013 as an entity that could provide specialist strategic services to the aged care and seniors living space in Asia and Australia. After 28 years with the Company he co-founded (Burns Bridge Group) that became one of Australia-Asia’s largest property advisory and project management entities working across all sectors, Tony wanted to continue his association with the sector with a team of talented advisors who have worked together for many years.
Nino DiSisto, CEO of Clayton Church Homes | Nino has been the CEO of Clayton Church Homes since January 2015 with over 42 years’ experience in the Aged Disability and Health Care Sector in Rural and Metropolitan South Australia. Nino has been a Chief Executive and Executive Director since 1991, managing a range of metropolitan and rural hospitals, nursing homes, disability accommodation and ambulatory and community services.
Tanya Abramzon, CEO of Emmy Monash Aged Care | Tanya is a seasoned Aged Care professional with over 20 years’ experience. With a background in nursing and management, Tanya has provided strong, innovative and inspiring leadership throughout her 13 years as CEO of Emmy Monash Aged Care. Prior to Emmy Monash, Tanya held other senior positions including High Care Manager, Acting Director of Nursing and Unit Manager across multiple high care facilities.
Doreen Power, CEO of Lyndoch Living | Doreen is a health care professional with a nursing background and is an experienced senior executive across both the public and private health sectors ranging from Acute and Aged Care health services, Primary Health and Community Health. Doreen is also a Quality Assessor/Lead Assessor with The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. In March 2019, Doreen was named Aged Care CEO of the Year at the Australian Healthcare Week Awards.
Sue Cassidy, Board Member of Lyndoch Living | Sue joined the board of Lyndoch 3 years ago. She has owned her own business in the city for 16 years. She employs 11 staff and combined with her husband’s business they employ 26 local people. In 2016 Sue was elected as a Councillor to Warrnambool City. While on Council she is on the Rail Freight for Victoria, Health & Well-being Committee, Audit & Risk, Chair of the Reid Oval Development and Ambassador of Healthy Moves.
Tammy Sherwood, CEO of Person Centred Software | Tammy has over 18 years’ experience in client engagement and strategic business development in the Health sector. With strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills, Tammy has specific expertise in pharmaceutical and medication management services across all modes of Community, retirement village, aged care & home care and has undertaken international research in best practice in this area.
Lisa Thompson, Executive Manager Community Services, PresCare | Lisa is an Aged Care Professional with over 20 years’ experience in the health and community services. She has led organisational restructures in preparation for government changes and industry innovation with a strong financial and governance focus.
Sue McKechnie, Executive Manager Community Services of Resthaven Incorporated | Sue has led the Community Services and service development planning at Resthaven for 15 years, a period of substantial growth for the organisation. Resthaven Community Services won a National Excellence and Innovation in Aged Care Award in 2017. Sue is a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing, holds post graduate qualifications in health administration and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Nathan Kline, CEO of RSL Care SA | With over 23 years of full time military experience, and now being employed as a CEO in aged care, Nathan has served in a variety of leadership, management and training positions. In 2014 Nathan assumed the position of Director Development for RSL Care SA, and was then appointed as CEO in mid-2015. Nathan serves as a Director on a variety of not-for-profit boards, and he represents veterans’ health issues on the Premier’s Veterans Advisory Council, SA Health’s Veterans Health Advisory Council, and on Southern Adelaide Local Health Network’s Consumer Advisory Group.
David Stevens, Managing Director of Standards Wise International Ply Ltd | David has worked in the field of ageing for over 30 years within Australia and overseas in Asia, North America and the UK. He co-developed one of the early models of person centred care in the mid 1980’s for community and residential care, and went on to consult around Australia and overseas throughout the 90’s on innovative models for ageing well, before setting up his own consultancy in 2000 focusing on the Babyboomer cohort - Babyboomers Australia.
Janna Voloshin, CEO of Vasey RSL Care Ltd | Janna is the Chief Executive Officer of Vasey RSL Care, a role she has held for nearly seven years. Janna leads a team of around 550 staff. Janna holds Postgraduate Diplomas in Gerontology and Aged Services Management, a Masters of Health Services Management, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and recently undertook a Certificate in Brain Based Coaching (neuroleadership). Vasey RSL Care is highly regarded in the ex-service community for its commitment to the veteran and war widow community.
Justin Dover, CEO of Vietnam Veterans Keith Payne VC Hostel Limited | Justin has been employed in aged care for over 25 years. Beginning his aged care journey as an AIN Justin has been worked for numerous organisations and is currently CEO of Vietnam Veterans Keith Payne VC Hostel Limited, a position he has held since 2002. Justin has overseen the organisation’s growth from 12 staff to approx. 85 staff along with increasing the range of services from only residential aged care to Home Care, Fee for service and NDIS
