Join the Aging2.0 Phoenix Chapter as we are given a behind the scenes tour of ASU's Fall Prevention Lab with a presentation on cutting edge research in fall prevention with Professor Thurmon Lockhart, PhD.! Join us Friday, March 16th at 10am! This is a free event and an opportunity to connect with the Aging2.0 committee, learn how to become involved, and meet our new Chapter Ambassador, Ulya Khan! This is event is available to the first 20 that RSVP. You can RSVP by completing the "ticket" portion for the event. 

We will meet at PEBE, Physical Education Building East on Campus at ASU, this building is next to the bookstore, which has a parking lot - 525 E Orange St, Tempe, AZ 85281.

Professor Lockhart’s research and publications concern the identification of injury mechanisms and quantification of sensorimotor deficits and movement disorders associated with aging and neurological disorders on fall accidents. His research has recently been featured on the PBS NOVA ScienceNow and Good Morning America programs, Fortune, AgingWell, Men’s Health and Discover magazines. Dr. Lockhart has spent much of his career studying human locomotion and falls! 

Dr. Lockhart is a Professor in the Biomedical Engineering and Biological Design program in the School of Biological Health and Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Barrow Neurological Institute and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine,Division of Endocrinology, and a Guest Professor at Ghent University in Belgium.
