The annual Aging2.0 Global Startup Search seeks the best aging-focused startups from around the world. The competition kicks off with a series of pitch events in chapter cities, including Sacramento.

The winner of the Sacramento pitch competition will:

  • Receive prizes valued over $2000 from local sponsors
  • Move forward to the Aging2.0 Global Startup Search Semi-Finals
  • Be featured on the Aging2.0 website
  • Receive ONE free ticket to the Aging2.0 Americas Summit & Startup Bootcamp (June 20-21) in Toronto
  • Receive ONE free ticket to the Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE Conference (Nov 14-15) valued at $800
  • Be featured on the main stage during the Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE Conference in San Francisco - potentially as a finalist.

The winning startup from each event (each chapter city) proceeds to an online voting round, where the general public and a panel of expert judges evaluate and determine the finalists. Finalists will receive:

  • $1000 (USD) in travel stipends to get to San Francisco for OPTIMIZE
  • Aging2.0 mentorship and pitch training
  • Free exhibit space at the Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE conference
  • The opportunity to present on stage to all Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE attendees for a chance to win the grand prize

The finale pitch event occurs during Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE conference. The grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 (USD) cash prize and a one-year membership to the Aging2.0 Alliance.
