Join Aging2.0 and American Society on Aging's Network on Environments, Services and Technologies (NEST) constituent group for a casual happy hour to mix, mingle, and meet other innovators who are taking on the biggest challenges and opportunities in aging.
This happy hour is held in conjunction with the ASA's annual Aging in America Conference, bringing together 3,000 multidisciplinary professionals to learn about the issues, challenges and opportunities in aging. We'll be adding some Silicon Valley entrepreneurs developing products and services for older adults into the mix.
Happy Hour is organized by the Aging2.0 SF Chapter and ASA NEST, and sponsored by the Aging2.0 Alliance, Aging2.0's unique corporate innovation community of organizations at the intersection of tech, aging and senior care.
Location: Hotel Rex Library Bar and Salon, 562 Sutter St., San Francisco between Mason & Powell St - only 4 blocks from the ASA conference at the SF Hilton
Date/Time: Tuesday, March 27, 7 - 9 PM: Official start time is 7 PM as ASA attendees are encouraged to attend peer group sessions, however, doors (and the bar!) will open at 6 PM for those not attending sessions (and local entrepreneurs in aging who escape work early).
Drink specials: $5 house wine and beer from local breweries, $7 drink specials ... best deal in town!
Complimentary Nibbles: Light apps will be provided while they last starting at 7PM, courtesy of the Aging2.0 Alliance. Stop by their table to say thanks and find out how your company can benefit from joining the Aging2.0 Alliance.
Share What's On Your Mind - Pop Up: As if fantastic people, discounted drinks, and complimentary nibbles aren't enough to lure you to come by, the Elder Care Alliance's CreateArtAtWork program is providing attendees with a unique opportunity to share your excitement, ideas and inspiration with a special CreateArtAtWork Pop-Up at the Happy Hour. Express what’s on your mind and connect with new colleagues. Simple and fun way to share thoughts on conference sessions, aging, challenging issues, innovative solutions and whatever else is on your mind.
