Local Ambassador Sergio W. Duque Estrada was invited by the University São Camilo, Department of Gerontology, to give a class to their graduate students and faculty about the role of AGING2.0 and how can the organization help in the improvement of the quality of life of the growing 60+ population in Brazil. The presentation, among other issues, will focus on the needs and desires of this segment, and how can technology help in attending them - with the advantage of economies of scale that promote social inclusion. Moreover, the presentation will be an incentive to students and faculty to create solutions knowing that they might count with Aging2.0 SP for support and guidance - and just as important, as a conduit to expose their ideas to the public in general, through our monthly events carried out with our partners, which have been growing in number and importance - not to mention our 2020 Startup Search. To create a positive perception of this market and its potencial, and to give its participants a local support should encourage young gerontologists to purse new possibilities in their careers.
