We were delighted to announce the results of the 2nd AGING2.0 São Paulo Longevity Business Call on our website (agingstartupseach.com) at August 12th. The process was arduous, requiring the effort of 15 professionals involved with reading, analyzing, reviewing, and group discussion of all 125 submitted submissions. The evaluation parameters have been refined to consider several factors relevant to the strengthening of the 60+ ecosystem. The effort was rewarded by the realization that “the bar went up” and that the startups focused on Longevity have matured. We are still in a nascent phase, where improvements represent more direction than a big leap, but Longevity is already perceived and its presence is felt in public and private organizations, groups, academia, conversations and the media, but the road will be long and we are late in this race: we need to accelerate.
Our event will start on time at 6pm (registration at 5:30 pm). We will have 2 amazing speakers: Martin Henkel, marketing expert; creator and CEO of SeniorLab, columnist for various media outlets on longevity issues; member of the qualification group of Veiranópolis / RS, co-founder of the Center for Intelligence and Marketing60 + and institutional supporter of Longevidade Expo + Forum - which will give us a presentation about the current situation and trends of segment 60+ and agetechs; and Diego Gualda, lawyer and political scientist, partner at Machado Meyer, Head of 99Taxi Legal, participated in several local unicorn proceedings (Rappi, Green, and Gympass), which will discuss what to do (and especially what not to do). do) to maximize startups' chances of success, as well as the current investment landscape in these ventures.
Then the highlight of the night: the pitches of the 10 finalists! We will hear the proposal of each of those who may become unicorns in the future.
At the end, a Happy Hour of fellowship and networking at the invitation of ATIVEN, Aegon Mongolian Longevity Institute, and Longevity Expo + Forum.
