Daniel Aranki, PhD | Executive Director at The Berkeley Telemonitoring Project
Daniel Aranki received his PhD degree in computer science from UC Berkeley in 2017. He received the B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel in 2011. Between the years 2007 and 2011, he worked in the Mobile Wireless Group at Intel Corporation, Haifa, Israel. Currently, he is the executive director of the Berkeley Telemonitoring Project. Daniel is also teaching the Introduction to Privacy Engineering course at UC Berkeley. His research interests include machine learning, privacy, information disclosure and health tele-monitoring.
Michael Chen, PhD | Technical Lead at Verily Life Sciences (Formerly Google Life Sciences)
Michael is a biomedical engineer with a broad range of experiences including biosensing, mechanical product design, and manufacturing automation. He is currently a technical lead of various "health at home" projects at Verily Life Sciences. Michael received his BS in bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego, and his MS and PhD in bioengineering at Stanford University.
