Our physical environment has a direct impact on our health and wellbeing. How we design homes and what we put inside them makes a difference to NHS, Social Care and an individual. There are lots of initiatives around the globe. The UK wants to be a leader in solutions to address the opportunity of Healthy Ageing.
Last year the Future of Housing programme 2019 helped to identify three key areas where Connected Places Catapult should support market development:
* Retrofit
* Innovative financing
* Healthy ageing
On Wednesday 6 May 2020, Dan Roger from the Connected Places Catapult will discuss the launch of their Healthy Ageing Programme. It will deliver:
“A multi-location pilot at scale of innovation to support older people to live at home healthily for 5+ years longer”
